What do I do if I have trouble with the ID verification process?

ID verification is a required step for all new QuickMD patients. If you are having trouble completing the verification process, here is what to do.

Common reasons ID verification may fail:

  • The verification link expired before you completed it — links are time-sensitive and may expire within a short window
  • The photo of your ID was blurry, too dark, or did not show the full document
  • The selfie or live photo did not meet the system's requirements
  • Your ID type or format is not recognized by the automated system (e.g., certain non-standard or international IDs)

What to do if the automated verification fails:

  • Contact Patient Support and let us know that your ID verification was unsuccessful
  • Make sure the photo clearly shows both your face and the full front of your ID, with all text legible

Tips for a successful ID photo:

  • Take the photo in good lighting, ideally natural daylight
  • Hold your ID flat and at a slight angle to reduce glare
  • Make sure all four corners of the ID are visible
  • Ensure your face is clearly visible alongside the ID

If you continue to have difficulty, please contact Patient Support and our team
