A combination hormone patch containing both estradiol (estrogen) and norethindrone acetate (progestin), designed for women who still have a uterus. The progestin component protects the uterine lining.
Treats: Hot flashes and night sweats, sleep and mood changes, vaginal dryness and discomfort, bone density loss.
How to apply: Apply to clean, dry skin on the lower abdomen or upper buttock — never on the breasts or irritated skin. Press firmly for 30 seconds. Rotate the application site each week.
Dosing schedule: Replace once weekly, on the same day each week. Do not wear the same patch for more than 7 days.
Important:
- This patch includes progestin — you do not need a separate progestin if using this patch as directed.
- Avoid heat sources near the patch — they increase absorption unpredictably.
- Not for use during pregnancy.
- Women with a history of breast cancer, blood clots, stroke, or certain other conditions should discuss this medication carefully with their clinician before use.
