A low-dose, local estrogen therapy for vaginal symptoms of menopause, acting directly on vaginal tissue with very low absorption into the bloodstream.
Treats: Vaginal dryness and atrophy, pain or burning during intercourse, vaginal irritation and soreness, painful urination related to vaginal atrophy.
How to use: Using the pre-filled, single-use applicator, insert into the vagina and press the plunger to release the insert.
Dosing:
- Initial phase: Once daily for 2 weeks
- Maintenance phase: Twice weekly (e.g., every Monday and Thursday)
Important:
- Considered appropriate for many women who cannot use systemic estrogen.
- Not for use during pregnancy.
