CVS and Walmart have stricter policies for prescriptions written by telehealth providers, which can create challenges for QuickMD patients.
CVS: Pharmacists have discretion and may decline to fill telehealth prescriptions, even when appropriate and compliant.
Walmart: Requires patients to have an in‑person visit with their prescribing provider at least once per year before dispensing controlled substances.
Because of these policies, we recommend confirming with your local CVS or Walmart before choosing them as your pharmacy. If confirmed, QuickMD will accommodate your request. If not, we suggest selecting another pharmacy outside CVS, Rite Aid, or Walmart to avoid delays.
