Why was my prescription cancelled?

If your prescription has been cancelled, there are several possible reasons this may have occurred. In most cases, our team will work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Common reasons a prescription may be cancelled include:

•A clinical or administrative review was required before the prescription could be sent

•Your prescription was transferred to a different pharmacy at your request or ours, which requires the original prescription to be cancelled and reissued. This is a standard regulatory requirement and does not mean anything is wrong with your treatment plan.

•An issue was identified with the original prescription that required it to be rewritten

•The prescription was issued in error and needed to be corrected

What to do if your prescription has been cancelled:

Please contact Patient Support as soon as possible. Our team will liaise with your clinician to clarify the reason for the cancellation and, where appropriate, work to get your prescription reissued or transferred promptly.

When you contact us, please have the following information ready:

•Your full name and the email address associated with your QuickMD account

•The medication that was cancelled

•The pharmacy where you expected to fill the prescription

•Any notifications or messages you received about the cancellation

We understand how important timely access to your medication is, and our team will make every effort to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
