Follow-up visits are required for all of QuickMD's ongoing program services, including addiction treatment, weight loss, menopause hormone therapy, and mental health. They are how your clinician monitors your progress, adjusts your medication, and renews your prescription.
How to book a follow-up visit:
- Log in to your account and book a visit the same way you did your initial appointment.
- Select the same service type (for example, addiction treatment or weight loss) when booking.
- You do not need to see the same clinician. Any available QuickMD clinician can conduct your follow-up and will have access to your visit history and prior notes.
How often are follow-up visits required?
Program | Typical follow-up frequency |
| Addiction treatment (MOUD/MAT) | Monthly follow-up visits for ongoing prescription renewal |
| Weight loss | Monthly while titrating, every 2 to 3 months during active weight loss, every 3 months in maintenance |
| Menopause hormone therapy (MHT) | Every 3 months or as advised by your clinician |
| Mental health | Monthly while titrating, every 2 to 3 months once stabilized |
| Urgent care | No follow-up required unless a new condition arises |
Book your follow-up before your current prescription runs out. For programs such as addiction treatment, your prescription cannot be renewed without a follow-up visit. Missing your follow-up can result in a gap in your medication. We recommend scheduling your next appointment immediately after each visit. |
