Can QuickMD clinicians write prescriptions for other types of equipment or medication?

In addition to standard medications, QuickMD clinicians may, in certain circumstances, be able to write prescriptions or orders for other types of medical equipment or treatments depending on your visit type, state, and clinical need.

Examples of equipment or items that may be prescribed or ordered through a QuickMD visit, where clinically appropriate and available in your state, can include:

•Home oxygen therapy equipment (e.g., oxygen concentrators)

•Nebulizers and related respiratory equipment

•Other durable medical equipment (DME) as determined appropriate by your clinician

The availability of these prescriptions depends on your specific condition, the type of visit you have booked, and the regulations in your state. Not all equipment types are available through all visit types, and your clinician will make the final determination based on your individual clinical needs.

If you have a specific equipment need and are unsure whether QuickMD can assist, please contact Patient Support before booking your appointment. Our team can help confirm whether your need falls within the scope of our current services.
