To ensure you receive calls from your QuickMD clinician at the time of your appointment, please follow the steps below. Calls from our clinicians may be blocked, filtered, or sent to voicemail by your carrier or phone settings if these precautions are not taken.
Before your appointment, we recommend:
- Disable Do Not Disturb mode on your device. Even if your phone is not on silent, Do Not Disturb can block incoming calls from unknown numbers.
- Check that your phone is not set to automatically silence unknown or unrecognized callers. On iPhone, go to Settings > Phone and make sure 'Silence Unknown Callers' is turned off. On Android, check your Phone app settings for similar options.
- Disable call-blocking or spam-filtering apps temporarily during your appointment window. Apps such as Hiya, Nomorobo, or similar services can sometimes intercept legitimate medical calls.
- If your carrier offers spam-call filtering (such as AT&T ActiveArmor, Verizon Call Filter, or T-Mobile Scam Shield), consider temporarily disabling these services or adding our number to an approved list.
- Make sure you have adequate cell service or Wi-Fi calling enabled in your appointment location.
- Enable push notifications for the QuickMD app in your device settings so you receive alerts when your clinician is trying to reach you.
If you miss a call despite taking these steps, contact Patient Support immediately. Our team will attempt to reconnect you with your clinician or reschedule your appointment as quickly as possible.
Please note: our clinicians will attempt to contact you multiple times within a 15-minute window from your scheduled appointment time. Staying available and attentive during this window gives you the best chance of connecting.
