I accidentally selected the wrong state when booking — what do I do?

If you realize you have selected the wrong state during the booking process, you will need to go back to the beginning of the booking flow and reselect your correct state. Everything in the booking process, including available service types, clinicians, and appointment times, is determined by the state you select at the start. There is no way to change the state partway through the booking process without starting over.

To correct your state selection:

  • Exit the current booking flow and return to the start of the booking page
  • Select your correct state from the dropdown
  • Then select your service type and preferred appointment time as usual

This is important because QuickMD clinicians are licensed on a state-by-state basis. A clinician licensed in one state cannot provide care for a patient located in a different state.

If you have already completed a booking with the wrong state selected, please contact Patient Support right away. Our team may be able to reschedule your appointment with a clinician licensed in your correct state, though an administrative fee of $35 may apply.

Please note: for all QuickMD appointments, you must be physically located in the state shown on your valid photo ID at the time of your visit.
