What should I expect on my first visit?

  • Updated

We want your first visit to feel straightforward and supportive. Here's what to expect, by visit type:

Addiction treatment (induction visit): Your clinician will review your health history, discuss your substance use and treatment goals, and start your Suboxone prescription. This visit typically runs 10–15 minutes. You'll receive a 7-day starter supply so your clinician can monitor how your body responds.

Follow-up visits (addiction treatment): 10 to 15 minutes. These check-ins monitor your progress and adjust your treatment as needed.

Hormone therapy (MHT): Your clinician will review your symptoms, health history, and any lab results you've submitted, then recommend a personalized treatment plan. This visit typically runs 20–30 minutes.

Weight loss: Your clinician will discuss your health history, goals, and budget, and recommend a GLP-1 medication if appropriate. Typically 10–15 minutes.

Urgent care: Your clinician will assess your concern and prescribe treatment if appropriate. Approximately 10 minutes, depending on your concern.

Counseling sessions: 30 minutes.

All visits are conducted virtually — by video or phone. After your visit, a summary will be sent to your email.
