QuickMD's clinicians are licensed medical professionals who provide care through our telemedicine platform. Here is what you can expect from the clinicians you interact with:
- All QuickMD clinicians are licensed in the United States and are authorized to practice in the state where you are located at the time of your visit.
- Clinicians include medical doctors (MDs), doctors of osteopathic medicine (DOs), and nurse practitioners (NPs), depending on your state and service type.
- Clinicians who prescribe controlled substances such as buprenorphine-naloxone (Suboxone) hold a DEA registration and any required state-level certifications for prescribing.
- QuickMD clinicians are not board-certified psychiatrists. Our mental health service is medication management for depression and anxiety, not psychiatric evaluation or therapy.
Because QuickMD is a clinician-agnostic platform, you may not always see the same clinician at each visit. This is by design; it allows us to connect you with the next available qualified clinician as quickly as possible. Your visit history and prior notes are accessible to all QuickMD clinicians, so you do not need to re-explain your situation at each visit.
