Yes. During an urgent care visit, our clinicians can prescribe non-controlled medications for mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, and mood support.
We can prescribe:
- SSRIs (sertraline, escitalopram, fluoxetine)
- SNRIs (venlafaxine, duloxetine)
- Other non-controlled antidepressants (bupropion, mirtazapine)
- Non-controlled sleep aids where appropriate
We cannot prescribe:
- Controlled substances for mental health — stimulants (Adderall) or benzodiazepines (Xanax, Klonopin)
- Medications requiring in-person monitoring or specialist oversight (lithium, clozapine)
